About Fairview Livestock Commission Co.

The Fairview Sale Barn was established in 1975 by Bobby Smith, who built a brand based on honesty, integrity, trust, and great relationships with both his buyers and sellers. Bobby retired in 2018 but the reputation remains the same. Cale James, and wife, Nicole continue to operate the market, now Fairview Livestock Commission Company, with the same foundation and principals.

Cale and Nicole and their three sons live in Fairview and have a passion for the livestock marketing industry and serving the great producers of Northwest Oklahoma, as well as, the surrounding communities. They believe that taking care of the cattle and customers comes foremost and that there is no shortcut to growing and maintaining a great market.

If Cale isn’t sorting in the alleys, he’s likely in the country meeting with producers and getting to know their operations. When you find Nicole in the office visiting with customers, you will likely see a few little boys playing in the sale ring or running the alleys with their sorting sticks. A true family operated business is something they cherish and value raising their family in this industry.

Our Facilities

Since 2018 we have made tremendous efforts in rehabilitating and remodeling both our auction ring and cattle pens. Since this time we have turned dozens of pens from dirt to a gravel or concrete base and added countless feed and water pens, with nearly the entire facility having access to feed and water troughs and a sprinkler system for the summer months.

Improvements to our facilities and yard are on a continuous basis. We look forward to many years of serving our customers and updating the facilities as time goes on. Providing a safe and clean environment for your cattle is our number one priority.
